About Coachyn

Everyone knows what to do. Almost nobody has follow-up.

Coachyn exists because the gap between deciding and doing is not an information problem, and no amount of better advice has ever closed it.

Why we built it

The tools were never the missing piece.

Look at what people already have. A to-do list that tells them what they wrote down. A habit tracker that counts. An AI assistant that will answer any question they think to ask. All of it useful. None of it present at the moment things fall apart.

Because that moment is never at your desk with the app open. It's the evening you planned to write and instead opened the fridge. It's the third day of not replying to the email. It's the run you moved to tomorrow twice.

Every tool leaves too much on you: open the app, make the plan, remember the plan, update the plan, and — hardest of all — start over after you break it. That last one is where most goals actually die.

The people who follow through consistently aren't more disciplined. They have clearer next steps, external structure, and something that holds the thread when their attention goes elsewhere.

We built the thing that holds the thread.

Our mission

Help people turn intention into action through personalised, proactive, and ethical AI coaching.

Coachyn is for people who already know what they want and struggle with consistency, overwhelm, avoidance, unclear next steps, or weak accountability. We meet them in those moments and help them move one concrete action forward.

Four principles

What we hold ourselves to

These aren't values on a wall. Each one has cost us a feature we would otherwise have shipped.

Empower, don't create dependency

The goal is for you to need us less over time, not more. A coach that makes itself indispensable has failed at coaching.

Coach toward action, not reflection

Insight is cheap and endlessly available. Every conversation should end with something specific you're going to do, and when.

Support real life, not app life

Your goals don't live in a dashboard. Neither should the coaching. Coachyn reaches you where the decision actually gets made.

Keep the professional boundary clear

Coaching is not therapy, medicine, law, or regulated financial advice. Every coach knows what it will not do, and says so.

How it's built

Nineteen coaches, not one chatbot with costumes.

A career coach and a fitness coach should not ask the same questions. So they don't.

An orchestration layer reads what you bring and routes it to the domain coach that fits. That coach carries its own approach, its own questions, and its own explicit list of things it will not do. On top of that sits your version of it — the name you gave it, the tone you asked for, the instructions you set.

1

Routing, not guessing

You describe the goal in your own words. The orchestrator picks the domain — it's a deterministic routing layer, not another voice in the conversation.

2

A coach with a defined remit

Each domain has a base approach and a written boundary. The boundary is part of the coach, not a disclaimer bolted on afterwards.

3

Your layer on top

Name, tone, intensity, and any instruction you want it to hold onto. Same coach, tuned to how you actually respond.

4

Memory that survives the goal

Conversations are kept as sessions with a rolling summary, so months of history stay usable instead of scrolling out of reach.

The line

What Coachyn will not do

A coaching product that quietly drifts into clinical territory is worse than no product. These limits are deliberate and permanent.

It is not therapy

Coachyn does not diagnose, treat, or deeply process clinical mental-health conditions. When something belongs with a licensed professional, it says so and stops.

It is not a licensed adviser

No medical, psychological, legal, or regulated financial advice. The financial coach works on habits and admin, not on what to invest in.

It won't do the work for you

You keep the effort and you keep the credit. A coach that writes the essay has taken the one thing that was actually yours.

If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional. The full boundary is written out in our coaching disclaimer.

Early access

Where we actually are

Coachyn is early. The coaching model, the nineteen domains, and the follow-through loop are what we're building the product around, and we'd rather say that plainly than pretend to be further along than we are.

If you sign up now you're getting in at the point where what you tell us still changes what gets built. That's a genuinely good trade for the right kind of person — and a bad one if you need something finished today.

You do the work. We make sure you show up for it.

That sentence is the entire company. Everything on this site is downstream of it.
