What happens to what you say
Coaching is personal. Here's exactly what we keep, where it goes, and how to remove it.
The short version
- We keep your session transcripts, next steps, goals, and insights so your coach can pick up the thread.
- We don't keep recordings of your voice.
- What you say in a session, and what you type in the coach finder, is processed by Google's Gemini AI.
- You can export, clear, or delete your data from Settings, any time.
- We don't use your sessions to train AI. Google, which runs the AI, may use them under its own terms. Read the details.
What we store
Here is everything we keep, why we keep it, and for how long.

Who else sees it
No person listens to or reads your sessions as part of coaching. What you say is streamed to Google's Gemini AI so the coach can hear you and answer.
Is my data used to train AI?
We don't. Coachyn doesn't use your sessions to train any AI model.
Google might. Coachyn runs on Google's Gemini AI. What you say in a session is sent to Google so the coach can reply. Google may use that data as its own terms allow.

What you can do, any time
Each of these lives in Settings, under Privacy and data.
- Export everything. Download all your data as a file.
- Clear one coach's memory. Deletes your sessions, transcripts, and next steps with that coach, so they start fresh. They stay one of your active coaches.
- Replace a coach. Deletes that coach's sessions, transcripts, next steps, insights, and memory. Your account and other coaches stay.
- Choose how long we keep sessions. Pick a retention period.
- Delete your account. Removes everything. It can't be undone.
How it's protected
Everything between your browser and Coachyn travels over an encrypted connection. Only you can sign in to your account. Your password is never stored in a form anyone can read.
